Wings of IsisAfra al Kahira is the UK's only expert on dancing with Wings of Isis. She was the first dancer in the UK to perform with them and is famous for her breathtaking double wings numbers. Please note that at the moment Afra is only able to supply wings to the UK and mainland Europe. Maayan and Michelle both sell good quality wings and have them in a far wider choice of colours than I would have room to store. I am still offering the bespoke deluxe wings as outlined below. Made-to-measure These wings can be ordered in tissue lamé or iridescent organza, and other similar materials. The lamé ones can be ordered in silver, yellow gold (like the ones in the photo below) or a darker more bronze-like gold. The organza wings come in a fabulous range of colours! The photos below are just a sample, but if you are looking for something in particular let me know and I will see if it can be sourced for you. My organza set are in a pale pastel lavender and iridescent white. Everyone has gold or silver - why not make yourself stand out with a coloured set made to match a special costume! Made-to-measure wings normally take about 4-6 weeks to make depending on how many outstanding orders my supplier has waiting. A non-returnable 50% deposit is required when you place your order, and then you can settle the balance when your wings arrive in the UK. These wings are made to suit your measurements. NOTE: Due to the nature of the shape of the wings, the neck-piece to floor measurement is a guide. As it is not always possible to get an exact match on hand-made wings. The wings are professionally heat-pleated to make the pleats crisp and durable. Sadly due to rising costs with the Dollar/Sterling Rate being less attractive, I have had to raise the costs of custom made wings. Please note that these wings are of the very highest quality and will last you well beyond the life time of the standard type. I am using sets bought several years ago on a regular basis and they look almost new.
